When it comes to Bang for your Buck, Esquire Men’s Magazine is the best value you’re going to find Stateside.
Sure, there are better men’s magazines out there. Magazines that don’t have as many ads (which esquire has a lot of), magazines that focus more on menswear (and not half naked women – which I love but distracts from the focus), and magazines that provide better style guidelines and explanation (which prior to 1960 Esquire did very well).
No it’s not perfect – but for less than $1 an issue delivered – Esquire is a great Supplemental Style Look Book.
Founded in 1932, Esquire Men’s Magazine is a monthly magazine with a circulation of 700K and has been a staple of men’s style since the first great depression.
4 Reasons why I think you should subscribe:
1. Solid Content – Very rarely do I find something I feel is wrong – yes, they are a bit fashion forward and rarely write content for men outside of the ideal model build – but overall they have quality writers who have been
2. Great Images – A lot – they spend a lot of money on photo shoots and I find that I take a away at least one new idea (usually more) from each issue.
3. Price – Great value, less than $1 an issue.
4. It is consistent – Every month esquire shows up in my mailbox. I like having a physical magazine to read when I have a few minutes here or there.
Bonus – If you’re looking for style ideas that are a bit different, consider subscribing to International Editions. Although still heavy with American influence, you’ll find they publish content for Mexico, Russia, Spain, Thailand, and about 15 other countries.
